There are a number of insurance companies offering funeral cover or funeral insurance. Whilst Manning Funerals does not operate a pre-paid funeral plan, they do stress the fact that, despite someone having previously taken out a plan through a funeral home, they are not bound to have the funeral service with that company. Many plans are transferable, and it is prudent to ascertain at the time of taking out the policy, that they can get the funds released upon death, to a funeral home of their choice.
